Our stay was decent but had its fair share of downsides. The cabin was cozy and had the basics we needed, but the lengthy check-in process and lack of a warm welcome cast a shadow on the experience. The location is convenient for access to Mt. Cook, but the shared facilities need some improvements. It's fine for a brief visit, but I wouldn't call it a highlight of our trip.

I had a mixed experience at this campground. While the showers were consistently hot and clean, and I enjoyed the proximity to the Alps to Ocean cycle trail, there were serious noise issues during my stay. Unfortunately, the lack of noise control from nearby campers made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. Overall, it has potential but needs some improvements.
